Anyone who's still angry BC the MC is so weak This what I have to say. I think Instead of focusing too much on the MC this show focuses on a bunch of characters. You've probably noticed by now that the MC is getting as much screen time as some of the other side characters. Plus, I'm tired of seeing those OP MCs cz they're kinda predictable at times. It's like, since he's OP you know he's gonna win kinda thing. Anyway, this is what I personally think.

there's some MC that are actually scrawny weak but damn has a strong sense of principles that they're upholding + they get some plot armor with it.

making him strong would just lessen the content of the plot (as they would demolish B-rank teams from left and right) they really put a good set of limitation so that the story is full of content

1. is weak but smart
2. innately talented but has one thing she can't do on battles
3. has an OP trigger but can't use on battles.

Honestly, I would've liked to see yuma as an mc, strugling with adjusting to the ethics and laws of japan by himself. Also weak "I want to get stronger to protect someone" mcs are as predictable as op ones

i'm not against putting the opening in the beginning, middle or end of the episode (since gintama always did that) but playing it in the most critical scene, damn!!

but please, osamu. get stronger already! use your wit and strategy as to not appear so weak. don't drag the team down!!

3. nobody expects him to win, they only know that he's there for experience
4. tying with the rank 2 attacker (rank 3 A-team) is a really good reputation esp if he skipped the whole C-class because of certain circumstances. (he's actually considered a C-class rank)

People who are focusing only on the fact of how weak Osamu is, you guys need to focus on the whole viewpoint. He have other potential. Even though he is weak and he knows it, still he is using his brain. He is going to improve slow by slow.

Don't expect every MC to be too much strong. MC like Osamu also exists.
In this anime almost every character gets their own screentime. So enjoy the other characters too.

Also, if you really do have problem with Osamu then don't watch it, simple.
